The Angkor Temples, located in the lush jungles near Siem Reap in northwestern Cambodia, represent one of the most extraordinary archaeological and cultural treasures of the world. This vast complex, often referred to collectively as the Angkor Archaeological Park, spans over 400 square kilometers and encompasses hundreds of temples, palaces, and hydraulic structures built by the Khmer Empire between the 9th and 15th centuries.
